Dear readers, please forgive my sluggishness with this monthly newsletter. We’re in the midst of a major upgrade of VegKitchen, which will be unveiled early next year, and soon, you’ll have the option of choosing to receive this newsletter monthly or every week, as we used to do not long ago. Thanksgiving and Hanukkah

With Thanksgiving just over two weeks away, it’s time to start planning your plant-based menu. VegKitchen’s Thanksgiving page offers a ton of mix-and-match menu ideas, from soups to desserts. Our new and improved Vegan Thanksgiving Dinner page is enlivened by Hannah Kaminsky’s gorgeous photos of some of our all-time favorites.I can’t remember a time when Thanksgiving and Hanukkah fell on the same date, so for many of us, it’s just a matter of swapping the mashed potatoes for potato latkes. VegKitchen’s famous Vegan Latkes can also be made in a a gluten-free variation as well. You’ll also find a couple of variations featuring zucchini and sweet potato.
